Monsters can be tamed using Feed and made into companions that assist in combat. Pets can also grow through combat experience, and they have various skills by each type that help with the progression of the game. 'Mercenaries' and 'Buddies' obtained through Shop purchases and events, etc can also be managed in the Pet screen.

01. What are Pets?
☾ Field monsters can be tamed and made into companions by using Pet Feed items and 'Taming'.
🛈 The 'Archer' job is specialized for battling alongside pets.
02. Pet Taming
☾ 'Pet Feed' can be purchased from a Pet Supply Merchant. Make sure you have reached Lv.45 first in order to purchase or sell items from Pet Supply Merchants like Lydia.
Use feed suited to a monster's palate for a chance to tame them as a pet. The chances of taming a monster is influenced by the character's Charisma.
Use Pet Feed and select the desired monster to tame them as a pet.

The chances of successfully taming a pet is affected by the character's Charisma stats.
03. Using Pets
☾ Go to 'Pets' in the menu to manage and summon pets.
If a pet is currently summoned, the pet's level and HP is shown on the screen.
Go to 'Name' to give pets a unique name or change a pet's name.
If a pet's summoning is canceled or they become unable to fight in the middle of combat, they can be summoned again after a period of time. To summon them without having to wait for a period of time, a 'Subjugation Scroll' item is needed.
You can use 'Release' to return pets back into the wild. Keep in mind that pets cannot be summoned again once released.
04. Pet Growth
☾ Battle alongside your pet to obtain XP and increase the pet's own level. Use Blue Star Tablets for even quicker pet growth.
'Archer' characters can learn various skills for battling alongside pets, allowing for more cooperative combat with their pets than other jobs.
05. What are buddies?
☾ A Buddy can give you Buddy Effects, pick up items, and run Errands to help you out.
- You can check your Buddy at [Menu] ▶ [Buddy].
- You can get Common / Quality / Rare / Heroic / Legendary grade Buddy.
06. Buddies and Buddy Souls
☾ A Buddy Egg will give you the chance to obtain a Buddy,
depending on the type of egg you use.
- You can purchase Buddy Eggs at [Growth] ▶ [Buddy] in the shop or [Gold Shop] ▶ [Growth].
- The [Chance Info] of Buddy Eggs shows you the available Buddy and the probability to obtain them.
- Buddies obtained from Buddy Eggs can be viewed in the Buddy List.
☾ You get Buddy Souls when you obtain a Buddy you already have.
- Buddy Souls are stored in [Bag] ▶ [Auxiliary Bag] ▶ [Buddy Soul].
- Fuse 5 Buddy Souls of the same grade to obtain a Buddy of an identical grade or one grade higher.
- Obtaining a Heroic~Legendary Buddy from Fusion will allow you to change or confirm Buddy at the Confirm tab.
- Buddy Exchange can be performed up to 3 times within 7 days of obtaining them through Fusion.
- Buddy exchange consumes Moonlight Butterflies.

- Confirm Buddy Summon will give you the Buddy you chose, which cannot be changed anymore.
ⓘ Buddy received from eggs are not subject to exchange.
ⓘ Selecting Change in the [Confirm] tab will display the Chance Info of obtainable Buddy.
- Buddy Souls can be locked, which prevents them from being shown in Collection Book and Fusion lists.
07. Buddy Effects
☾ All Buddies have an effect that is applied as a buff when summoned.
- Buddy Effect is applied as a buff at all times while a Buddy is summoned.
Buddies with higher grade will apply better buffs.
(Buddy Effect buff is removed when you Cancel Summon.)
08. Henchman Buff
☾ Using Premium Buddy Feed on your Buddy will apply a Henchman Buff for a certain period.
- Buddy with the buff applied can perform Storage Box Errands and pick up items and can be applied to all owned Buddy.
- Premium Buddy Feed (14 Days) can be purchased from [Growth] ▶ [Buddy] in the shop.
