After you entered your house, touch the "Chair" icon in the bottom right to enter the edit mode.
In the edit screen, you can see the furniture you own. Touch an item to place it in your house.
If you run out of space to place more furniture, you can talk to the house expansion NPC and pay gold to expand the space.
